Welcome to the Web site for Big K Productions, LLC.

Big K Productions was started by Karen Brown and Kurt Ohlen in 1993 to promote and support Denver’s growing Rockabilly and Western Swing music scenes. To help bring more fine music to Denver, we started Wormtone Records and began producing records.

After proudly hosting Denver’s Rock N’ Rhythm-Billy fest for 3 years, the Tore Up Record Hop, and promoting bands and local events, we have streamlined our endeavors and currently focus on bringing the Record Collectors Expo to Denver twice a year. 2012 marks the 20th year for the Record Collectors Expo and we look forward to bringing you many more.
